Summer Game Fest Lego Horizon Adventures Delivers Blocky Dinosaur Combat Holiday 2024

As part of the Summer Game Fest 2024 showcase, we finally got a look at the next adventure for Aloy in the world of Horizon, but it’s not what you think. Instead of an open-world, expansive adventure, we will be joining Aloy in Lego Horizon Adventures, slated to come out sometime in the holiday season of 2024, and more notably, on PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Co-developed by Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo, this is a playful and light-hearted story inspired by the events of the world of Horizon.

In a distant future, the land is made of LEGO bricks and incredible dinosaur-like machines roam the Earth. Aloy, the game’s leading hero, is found in a cave as a baby and raised by a grizzled huntsman called Rost, who teaches her the way of the wilds.

One day, Aloy embarks on a quest to discover her true destiny. Guided by a thousand-year-old hologram of a scientist called Elisabet, Aloy must confront Helis, the leader of a group of sun worshipers who bow to an Ancient Evil shrouded in mystery. There’s much more in store for Aloy and her friends, as their adventure sends them across the tallest mountains and deepest cauldrons — all beautifully recreated in LEGO elements.

As with other LEGO games, Lego Horizon Adventures boasts the ability to play co-op either locally or via online, with the game designed for two-player action without the need for split-screen displays. If you wish to indulge in building, you can also create your own base in the village of Mother’s Heart, albeit with plenty of block-like features.

Leaked earlier in the month, this confirmation will only serve to make fans even more excited what’s next to come for the franchise in terms of video games, as well as more LEGO sets like the Tallneck.
