Rokid Launches World’s First AI + AR Smart Glasses in Singapore

Leading AR brand Rokid has unveiled what it calls the world’s first consumer-grade AI and AR integrated smart glasses, with the Rokid Glasses debuting in Singapore at a retail price of SG$848. The device combines advanced artificial intelligence with augmented reality displays, offering features ranging from real-time multilingual translation to smart prompting for presentations.

The lightweight glasses aim to address long-standing criticisms of bulk and discomfort in smart glasses. At just 49 grams, they feature adjustable nose pads and support prescription lens clip-ons, blending fashion with function. This approach marks Rokid’s attempt to bring AR technology into everyday life in a practical, stylish form.

nearsightedness or astigmatism, seamlessly integrating Rokid Glasses into daily life.

AI Features and Smart Assistance

The Rokid Glasses are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon AR1+ Gen 1 chip, enabling robust computing for AI-driven features such as object recognition, photo-based Q&A, and voice-to-text transcription. Users can issue multilingual voice commands in up to 89 languages, with the system displaying translations instantly on the lenses.

The device also features a 12MP camera capable of 60fps video and Low-Light HDR support, enabling smooth first-person capture even in low-light conditions. Combined with gesture-based call answering and head-motion controls, the glasses emphasise hands-free convenience.

Productivity and Entertainment

Beyond lifestyle features, the Rokid Glasses targets professionals with a built-in teleprompter mode that projects scripts directly into the wearer’s field of vision, improving fluency in speeches or presentations.

For entertainment, Rokid also unveiled the AR Spatial Suite, which includes the Rokid AR Max 2 and Station 2. This bundle transforms the glasses into a portable cinema or mobile office, with virtual screens of up to 300 inches, 120Hz refresh rates, and compatibility with Netflix, Disney+, and major gaming consoles.

Retail and Availability

The Rokid Glasses will be available through Challenger stores in Singapore. With its blend of AI smarts, AR visualisation, and everyday usability, Rokid is positioning its glasses as a breakthrough in the wearable market.
