HONOR Pushes Embodied AI Vision With Robot Phone and Foldable Magic V6

HONOR Showcases Robot Phone and AI Ecosystem Vision at MWC 2026

At Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2026, HONOR outlined its next phase of AI-driven hardware strategy, unveiling the Robot Phone, its first humanoid robot, and the new Magic V6 foldable.

The announcements form part of HONOR’s broader Augmented Human Intelligence vision and ALPHA PLAN, which is built around three pillars: Alpha Phone, Alpha Store, and Alpha Lab. Together, these initiatives aim to integrate AI across devices in ways that feel more physical, expressive and human-centric.

Robot Phone Introduces Embodied AI Interaction

The headline reveal was the Robot Phone, described as a new smartphone species built around embodied intelligence. Unlike conventional devices that rely purely on screen and voice input, the Robot Phone incorporates robot-grade motion control and spatial awareness.

At its core is a self-developed ultra-compact micro motor that enables a 4DoF gimbal system inside the handset. This allows for three-axis stabilisation and real-time camera movement, forming the hardware backbone for embodied AI interaction.

The device supports all-angle AI video calling that physically follows users through motion tracking. It can respond with expressive gestures such as nodding or shaking, and even synchronise movements to music. Multimodal perception allows it to identify sounds, track motion, and maintain visual awareness simultaneously.

On the imaging side, the Robot Phone features a 200MP sensor paired with AI Object Tracking, Super Steady Video mode and AI SpinShot rotational capture. These systems aim to bridge the gap between everyday smartphone footage and more cinematic storytelling.

HONOR Debuts Its First Humanoid Robot

Beyond smartphones, HONOR revealed its first humanoid robot, signalling a move into consumer-grade robotics.

The robot is positioned around three primary use cases: shopping assistance, workplace inspection and supportive companionship. By leveraging data continuity across its device ecosystem, HONOR aims to create embodied AI systems capable of recognising users and providing personalised physical assistance from the outset.

Magic V6 and Ecosystem Expansion

Alongside its robotics push, HONOR introduced the Magic V6 foldable, described as its most refined foldable to date. The device incorporates silicon-carbon battery technology, advanced display engineering and AI-enhanced productivity features.

The company also unveiled the MagicPad 4 tablet and MagicBook Pro 14 laptop, reinforcing its push to integrate intelligent hardware and software across multiple form factors.

Bridging Digital and Physical AI

HONOR’s MWC 2026 showcase signals a broader ambition to blur the line between digital intelligence and physical interaction. From experimental embodied robotics to AI-powered productivity devices, the company is positioning itself not just as a smartphone brand but as an AI device ecosystem company.

Whether the Robot Phone evolves into a commercial product or remains a technology preview, its debut marks a clear statement of direction: the next generation of devices may not only think smarter but also move smarter.
