HONOR X9d Promises Industry-Leading Battery Life and Toughness at Launch
HONOR has announced that pre-orders for its latest smartphone, the HONOR X9d, will begin in Singapore on September 25. Positioned as a flagship contender in the mid-range category, the X9d is set apart by its industry-first SGS Triple Resistant Premium Performance Certification and its class-leading 8,300mAh battery.
The HONOR X9d is available in 4 captivating colours: Forest Green, Sunrise Gold, Midnight
Black, Reddish Brown, and will be available in two variants of 256GB and 512GB, with pre-orders in Singapore starting from SG$449 and SG$529, respectively. Official sales with local telcos start October 4.
Industry-Leading Battery Life
At the heart of the HONOR X9d is an ultra-large 8,300mAh silicon-carbon battery, one of the largest capacities available on the market. HONOR claims users can expect up to three days of use on a single charge, eliminating the need for a power bank. Internal testing indicates 52.5 hours of music streaming, 23.8 hours of video playback, 16.8 hours of gaming, and 12.3 hours of video chat per charge.
The battery is supported by HONOR’s self-developed anti-ageing algorithm, which ensures more than 80% capacity retention after six years of use. Meanwhile, the phone supports 66W wired SuperCharge, as well as reverse charging, allowing the device to act as a portable power bank. With built-in multi-point temperature monitoring, the battery remains reliable in extreme environments from –30°C to 55°C.
Comprehensive Protection and Durability
The HONOR X9d has been engineered for resilience, achieving SGS Triple Resistant Premium Performance Certification as well as a 5-Star Comprehensive Reliability Certification. The device is reinforced with Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology, non-Newtonian fluid layers, and tempered glass, protecting it from drops of up to 2.5 metres and even simulated air-gun shots.
On the water resistance front, the X9d offers IP69K certification, handling splashes, dirt, high-temperature water jets, and even full submersion at depths of 1.5 metres for 30 minutes. Added features, such as AI Heavy Rain Touch and AI Glove Touch, ensure usability in rain or while wearing gloves.

The launch of the HONOR X9d follows the successful rollout of the premium HONOR Magic V5 foldable device earlier this year.
