Now that Stunlock Studios have officially ushered in the 1.0 era of the hit survival game, V Rising, on PC, the call of darkness is extending to other platforms as well. Would-be bloodsuckers in the PlayStation ecosystem have been eagerly awaiting news of when they can join the undead, and now we finally have an answer. V Rising will arrive on PS5 this coming June 11, with pre-orders now open for the ARPG.
With the May 8 launch of V Rising on Steam receiving a hugely positive reception from the community, the hope is that the success of the game can be replicated on another platform. The team has always been working closely with fans, tweaking and refining everything about the game, and that has allowed for an improved experience for those jumping in at 1.0.
This will be the case for PS5 players, with V Rising arriving in its final form. You will be stepping into the boots of a newly awakened vampire, seeking to construct your own gothic castle and exploring an open world teeming with danger. Throughout the seven distinct regions, get ready to face a number of foes and 57 unique bosses.
Along the way, hunt for blood alone or unite with a clan, battling alongside fellow vampires online. Ultimately, you must rise in power and face the ancient tyrant Dracula himself in a showdown of epic proportions to rule the night.
If that’s not enough, there is also the Legacy of Castlevania event in V Rising. Prepare to challenge the legendary vampire hunter Simon Belmont and unlock the whip weapon. Along with the free Castlevania content, vampire enthusiasts will be able to purchase the Legacy of Castlevania Premium Pack cosmetic DLC, allowing players to construct their own castles inspired by Castlevania’s classic gothic aesthetic. The pack also contains further additions and customizations.
Stunlock, with support from Auroch Digital, understands the need to cater to the audience and will create an optimal PS5 experience in terms of gameplay and the UI. DualSense support is also expected so that your vampiric adventures feel even more intense.
V Rising on the PS5 is available in several editions, which include:

Both the Castlevania and Complete Editions will come with five days early access, while the latter contains all cosmetics packs released, such as the Eldest Bloodlines Pack, the Dracula’s Relics Pack, the Sinister Evolution Pack, and the Legacy of Castlevania Pack.
