If killing things is your jam and you want to look utterly awesome when doing it, then Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive‘s Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will be right up your alley. In a brand new trailer, the teams shared a closer look at the PvE co-op experience as well as the return of the beloved PvP mode at the Warhammer Skulls Festival livestream.
In addition to bringing back Space Marine’s iconic battle against the Chaos Space Marines in three 6v6 PvP modes (Annihilation, Seize Ground, and Capture & Control), Space Marine 2 features an all-new co-op mode, letting you slay xenos with up to two partners in three-player Operations Mode. Each PvE and PvP mode lets players choose between six available classes, ranging from the unflinching Bulwark and his Combat Shield to the stealthy Sniper with his Camo Cloak.
Even amidst the bloodshed, you will be able to recognise your instrument of death, as Space Marines can be customized from helm to greaves. Choose from a wide selection of colours, heraldry decals, pauldrons, and gauntlets, and there will be even more cosmetics dropping via the Season Pass and future free updates.
At the same time, the teams announced the opening of digital pre-orders for Space Marine 2 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, with the following editions:
