Xbox Games Showcase: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Whips Up a Frenzy

Xbox Games Showcase Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

It has been in the works for a while, and at the Xbox Games Showcase, Machine Games and Bethesda finally unleashed Indiana Jones and the Great Circle onto the gaming world with a brand new trailer. Over five minutes, we get a load of several cutscenes, some action, and of course, the repeat of a 2024 release window.

If you aren’t familiar with what the game is offering, players will join Indy on his latest adventure through the hallowed halls of the Vatican and the sunken temples of Sukhothai to the pyramids of Egypt and the snowy peaks of the Himalayas. In a race against time as he hunts down mysterious and powerful artifacts, our hero will have to work with his companion Gina while facing off against the Nazis in the hunt for the secrets of these relics.

That means exploration and plenty of fisticuffs will ensue in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, with plenty of puzzles to solve along the way. Prepare yourself to become familiar with the whip and the occasional firearm, as players will see just how Indy got through his days between the Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade films.

“Working with Indiana Jones makes you want to pull experiences from the wide range of set-pieces that made you go ‘Wow!’ as a kid,” shared game director Jerk Gustafsson. “We all remember the thrill of seeing Indy’s daring and often narrow escapes, and we want to have those kinds of moments in the Great Circle as well.”

For now, there is no set release date for Indiana Jone and the Great Circle, but we can expect the explorer to be on our screen on either Xbox Series X|S or PC later this year.
