Injustice 3 Leak: Superman and Green Lantern Voice Actors Hint at New Game

NetherRealm’s Next Project in Question

With Mortal Kombat 1: Definitive Edition marking the end of its post-launch content, fans are asking what’s next for NetherRealm Studios. Given Warner Bros. Games’ push for DC titles, speculation has turned once again to the possibility of Injustice 3.

Voice Actor Leaks Spark Fan Excitement

Rumours surrounding the project have circulated for years without confirmation, but new evidence has emerged that lends weight to the theory. Two well-known voice actors may have unintentionally revealed their involvement.

Phil LaMarr, best known for voicing Green Lantern, and George Newbern, the long-time voice of Superman, both reportedly told fans they were currently working on Injustice 3. While neither offered further details, the slips have fans convinced the next game in the series is underway.

What the Leaks Could Mean

If recording has already begun, this suggests Injustice 3 is at least in an early stage of production. That doesn’t guarantee a reveal anytime soon, but it does strengthen the argument for a new instalment.

The timing lines up, too. Injustice 2 was released in 2017, leaving a long gap for a follow-up. NetherRealm has traditionally alternated between Mortal Kombat and Injustice, and Warner Bros. continues to prioritise expanding its DC gaming catalogue. A return to the world of superheroes and supervillains appears to be just the right next step.

Still Rumour Territory

Despite the excitement, no official confirmation has been provided by NetherRealm or WB Games. Until an announcement is made, Injustice 3 remains firmly in the realm of speculation, even if fans want it badly to happen.

That said, with two veteran voice actors independently hinting at their roles, fans believe the return of DC’s premier fighting series feels closer than ever.
