Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 Bundle Launches in September
Sony has revealed the Marvel’s Wolverine limited edition PS5 console bundle and accessories ahead of the game’s September 15 launch.
The headline release is the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle, which includes a PS5 Digital Edition console, matching DualSense wireless controller, and a game code for Marvel’s Wolverine.
Pre-orders open on August 19, with the bundle and accessories launching on September 15 in limited quantities.
Battle Yellow Design Takes Inspiration From Wolverine’s Suit
The main bundle uses a bold Battle Yellow design inspired by Wolverine’s suit in Insomniac Games’ upcoming action game.
The console features claw-slashed detailing across the cover, with exposed markings designed to make it look like Logan has torn through the hardware itself. The matching DualSense controller continues the same theme, with slash marks across the shell to match the limited edition console.
The design was created in collaboration with Marvel Games, Insomniac, and Scottish graphic artist Jock, whose comic book work helped shape the bundle’s raw, illustrated look.
DualSense Controllers and Console Covers Will Be Sold Separately
Players who already own a PS5 will not need to buy the full console bundle to get the look. The Battle Yellow DualSense Wireless Controller will be available as a standalone purchase globally. PlayStation will also sell Battle Yellow console covers for PS5 slim model consoles and PS5 Pro, covering both disc drive and digital console configurations.
For players who prefer a darker finish, PlayStation is also introducing the Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition range. This includes PS5 Pro console covers and a matching DualSense controller with a premium metallic finish inspired by the adamantium bonded to Wolverine’s skeleton and claws.

The PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle is priced at US$649.99, £569.99, €649.99, and ¥96,980.
The Battle Yellow DualSense Wireless Controller is priced at US$84.99, £74.99, €84.99, and ¥12,480. Console covers for PS5 and PS5 Pro are priced at US$74.99, £64.99, €74.99, and ¥9,980, depending on region and model. The Adamantium PS5 Pro console covers are priced at US$74.99, £64.99, and €74.99, while the Adamantium DualSense controller is priced at US$84.99, £74.99, and €84.99.
Direct PlayStation pre-orders will be available in regions where direct.playstation.com operates, including the US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Austria. Select retailers will carry limited quantities outside those regions.
A Big Collector Push for Wolverine Fans
Limited edition PlayStation hardware has always been built for collectors, and this one is clearly aimed at players already planning to pick up Marvel’s Wolverine on day one. With Marvel’s Wolverine launching on September 15, the accessories give Sony another way to turn the game into a broader PlayStation moment rather than just another exclusive release.
It also helps that the designs are not subtle. Battle Yellow is loud, comic-book sharp, and immediately tied to Logan. Adamantium is the cleaner option for PS5 Pro owners who want something more metallic and premium-looking.
The real challenge will be stock. PlayStation says the bundle and accessories will be available in limited quantities, which usually means fans will need to move quickly once pre-orders open.
