Techland Unleashes 11 Weeks of Chaos in Dying Light: The Beast
Techland has lifted the curtain on its ambitious 11-week post-launch roadmap for Dying Light: The Beast, outlining a steady stream of new content, long-requested features, and a global community event titled Call of the Beast.
Expanding the Post-Launch Experience
Following the successful launch and strong reception of Dying Light: The Beast, Techland is entering its next phase of post-release support with a mix of gameplay expansions and community-driven challenges.
Over the next several weeks, players can expect major updates aimed at enhancing replayability and endgame depth. Among the most anticipated additions are New Game+, Legend Levels, and Nightmare Difficulty, each designed to test even the most seasoned survivors.
The roadmap also includes new weapon executions, Ray Tracing support for PC, and a special collaboration with PUBG Mobile, with more surprises still under wraps.
Call of the Beast: A Global Community Challenge

The centrepiece of this roadmap is Call of the Beast, a massive 11-week community initiative kicking off on October 16 and running until January 7, 2026. The event introduces new global challenges every Thursday, encouraging players to unite and tackle objectives that celebrate teamwork and persistence.
Each week’s challenge rewards participants with exclusive loot, ranging from powerful weapons to unique vehicle skins. To claim these rewards, players must contribute to the week’s goal.
Techland has also teased a Legendary Reward for those who complete at least 17 of the 22 challenges. Should the community collectively complete 20 goals, every participant — even those who joined late — will receive all event rewards.
To track progress and view weekly objectives, players can visit the Dying Light Outpost, which serves as the central hub for Call of the Beast updates.

A Celebration of the Dying Light Community
With Call of the Beast, Techland continues its tradition of fostering player collaboration and rewarding loyalty. The event underscores the studio’s ongoing commitment to long-term support, blending cooperative gameplay with shared community goals.
The first Call of the Beast challenge launches on October 16, marking the beginning of what promises to be an exciting few months for fans of Dying Light: The Beast.
