Logitech G512 X Lands in Singapore on May 2

The keyboard game is about to get a new challenger. Logitech G is bringing the new G512 X gaming keyboard to Singapore on May 2, giving consumers a performance-first board designed for active tuning. The headline USP is a hybrid input, where the G512 X blends analog depth sensing with traditional mechanical switching, aiming to give players more control over how each key behaves rather than treating every press as a simple on off trigger.

The keyboard uses TMR sensor technology to enable analog-style input, allowing actions to be mapped to different press depths. That makes it especially relevant for games where gradual control matters, such as driving, flight, and tactical movement, but Logitech is also looking at it as a competitive advantage in shooters and action titles through faster response times and more precise actuation.

Dual Swap and Dual-Action Keypresses Drive the Feature Set

The G512 X’s main customisation hook is its Dual Swap approach. The keyboard supports both analog and mechanical switches across 39 hybrid TMR switch beds, with compatibility for common 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches.

Out of the box, it ships with nine Gateron KS-20 magnetic analog switches, intended for players who want to tune key feel and behaviour on a per-zone basis rather than committing the entire board to one switch type.

The keyboard also supports assigning two actions to a single key at different press depths via G HUB, which is reinforced by SAPP rings that add a tactile bump to mark the second actuation point. In practice, that means one key can handle both a light press and a deeper press, a design aimed at reducing finger travel while enabling more complex inputs.

8K Performance, Dual Dials, and a Built-In Storage Approach

Logitech is also leaning on responsiveness, claiming 0.125ms end-to-end latency through what it calls True 8K performance, including 8K polling, reporting, and processing. The G512 X also includes dual dials that can be assigned as hardware controls, plus a bold RGB lightbar design intended to give the board more visual identity than standard per-key lighting.

An unusual quality-of-life touch is built-in storage on the back of the keyboard for keycap pullers, the included analog switches, and SAPP rings, positioning the board as something you are expected to regularly tweak rather than set and forget.

Layouts, Colours, and Singapore Availability

The G512 X will be sold in both 75 and 98 layouts, in black or white. Logitech also confirmed an optional acrylic palm rest accessory, available online via Logitech G’s official Lazada and Shopee stores, sold separately by layout.

The keyboard itself will be available from May 2 through major offline retailers and Logitech G official stores on Lazada and Shopee in Singapore.
