Tides of Annihilation Gamescom 2026 Demo Will Be Playable in Cologne
Eclipse Glow Games has confirmed that Tides of Annihilation will receive its first public hands-on demo at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany.
The single-player action-adventure game will be playable at Hall 6, Booth B-050 in Koelnmesse, giving attendees one of the first chances to experience its Arthurian-inspired world directly. Until now, Tides of Annihilation has mainly drawn attention through its dramatic trailers, striking visuals, and Neo-Medieval atmosphere.
For Eclipse Glow Games, Gamescom will be an important test. Game Director and Co-CEO Ary Chen described the event as the team’s first global playtest, adding that the studio is looking forward to seeing how players respond after years of development.
Opening Night Live Will Feature a New Trailer
Before the show floor opens, Tides of Annihilation will also appear during Opening Night Live on August 25. Eclipse Glow Games says a new trailer will be shown during the showcase, giving players a fresh look at the game before the hands-on demo begins at Gamescom 2026.
That timing makes sense. A strong Opening Night Live showing could help build momentum before attendees start sharing impressions from the show floor. The studio has also released a short invitation video featuring Ary Chen and Lead Producer Kun Fu, aimed at players heading to Cologne.

Demo Includes Branching Paths and Combat Scenarios
The Gamescom demo is being positioned as more than a short vertical slice. According to Eclipse Glow Games, attendees will be able to play an extended demo featuring branching paths, with different exploration and combat experiences depending on how players move through it.
The demo will also include key environments and large-scale set pieces, giving players a broader sense of the game’s tone, pacing, and action systems. Tides of Annihilation has already made a strong visual impression, but hands-on time will be where players start judging how its combat, exploration, and world design actually feel.
Arthurian Fantasy Meets Neo-Medieval Spectacle
Tides of Annihilation has been described as an Arthurian-inspired action-adventure, but its appeal comes from how it pushes that influence into a more unusual visual direction. Rather than a straightforward medieval fantasy setting, the game blends mythic imagery with a Neo-Medieval atmosphere, building a world that feels both ancient and otherworldly.
The Gamescom 2026 demo should make that clearer. If the branching paths and set pieces deliver, Tides of Annihilation could become one of the more talked-about hands-on appointments at this year’s show.
At the time of writing, Eclipse Glow Games has not announced a release date for Tides of Annihilation.
