EA Sports FC 27 Ratings Put Three Players at 91 OVR
EA Sports has revealed the 27 highest-rated men’s and women’s players in EA Sports FC 27, kicking off the annual ratings debate ahead of the game’s September 25 launch.
Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland share the top spot on the men’s side with an overall rating of 91, while Alexia Putellas retains her position as the highest-rated women’s player with the same score.
Just behind them is a large group of players rated at 90. Rodri, Ousmane Dembélé, Vitinha, Harry Kane, Michael Olise, Pedri, Lamine Yamal, Thibaut Courtois and Jude Bellingham all make the cut among the men, while Aitana Bonmatí and Khadija Shaw sit at 90 for the women.
Michael Olise Is One of EA Sports FC 27’s Biggest Risers
One of the more notable changes this year belongs to Michael Olise, who has climbed by four overall points to reach 90. That rise puts him alongside some of the biggest names in world football and reflects his growing influence at FC Bayern München.
On the women’s side, Yui Hasegawa and Hannah Hampton are among the biggest movers, with both receiving increases of three overall points. Hasegawa is now rated 88, while Hampton reaches 87.
Further down the rankings, familiar names remain prominent. Lionel Messi sits at 89, Vinícius Júnior is also rated 89, while Declan Rice, William Saliba, Virgil van Dijk and Achraf Hakimi all come in at 88.
FC Barcelona and Manchester City Feature Heavily
Several clubs are particularly well represented among the top-rated players in EA Sports FC 27. Paris Saint Germain has Ousmane Dembélé, Vitinha, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Nuno Mendes and Willian Pacho among the men’s top 27, while FC Barcelona remains dominant in the women’s rankings through Aitana Bonmatí, Caroline Graham Hansen, Ewa Pajor, Claudia Pina, Patri Guijarro and Irene Paredes.
Manchester City also features prominently across both lists, with Haaland, Rodri and Gianluigi Donnarumma joined by Khadija Shaw, Yui Hasegawa, Vivianne Miedema and Lauren Hemp on the women’s side.
EA says the full ratings database will eventually cover more than 21,000 players across more than 800 clubs and national teams, 35 leagues and 140 stadiums.
More FC 27 Ratings Are Coming This Week
The wider ratings rollout continues throughout the week, beginning with the Barclays Women’s Super League, Premier League, Bundesliga and Frauen Bundesliga on August 18. Serie A, Liga F, La Liga and the Saudi Pro League follow on August 19, before Ligue 1, Division 1 Féminine, NWSL, MLS and Liga MX ratings arrive on August 20.
The full base item database without PlayStyles is scheduled for August 21, with an updated version following on September 10 after the international transfer window closes. EA is also letting players vote for the first Destined for Glory Football Ultimate Team squad from August 21 to September 10, with selected items receiving live upgrades based on real-world performances.
EA Sports FC 27 launches on September 25 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Ultimate Edition and Ultimate Plus Edition early access begins on September 18.
