Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse Demo Is Available Now
Konami has released a free demo for Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, giving players an early taste of Rose Belmont’s latest hunt before the full game launches on October 15.
The demo is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, covering the opening stages of the upcoming 2D action game. Better yet, players can transfer save data to the full release, as long as they stay on the same platform and account.
That gives anyone curious about the newest Castlevania entry a chance to start early instead of waiting for launch day. We previously covered Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse and its October release, with the game arriving during a particularly busy year for the franchise.
Rose Belmont Takes the Fight to 1499 Paris
Developed jointly by Konami, Evil Empire and Motion Twin, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is set in Paris in 1499, 23 years after the events of Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse.

Players take control of Rose Belmont, Trevor Belmont’s daughter, as she battles through the burning streets of Paris and eventually Dracula’s castle. The familiar Vampire Killer whip returns alongside additional weapons and abilities as Rose cuts through the monsters overrunning the city.
The release also arrives shortly after Konami kicked off Castlevania’s 40th anniversary celebrations, which have included game discounts, music releases and planned orchestral concerts.
Pre-Orders Include an Alucard-Inspired Costume
Pre-orders remain available for both physical and digital editions. Players who pre-order or purchase the game early will receive an additional Alucard-style costume for Rose, while the Midnight Edition includes alternate costumes, a Digital Sound & Art Gallery and an additional in-game relic. The official Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse website has further details ahead of release.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse launches October 15 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. The free demo is available now across all four platforms.
