ANOMALITH Steam Next Fest Demo Is Available Through October 26
FURYU has released a Steam Next Fest demo for ANOMALITH, giving players a limited-time chance to enter its reality-warping Otherworlds before the survival horror shooter launches later this month.
The demo will remain playable through October 26 as part of Steam Next Fest. It arrives after ANOMALITH passed 100,000 Steam wishlists following its appearance at Tokyo Game Show, and FURYU also released a congratulatory video message featuring Reona Minazuki and Arisa Hanato to celebrate the milestone.
Blends Survival Horror With Reality-Bending Exploration
ANOMALITH follows investigator Reona Minazuki, who awakens after spending 10 years trapped inside an anomaly known as the Sarcophagus. As spatial anomalies known as Otherworlds keep appearing, Reona sets out to find her missing friend while investigating the phenomenon’s origins and the mysterious powers she’s gained.
FURYU points to Resident Evil and the Backrooms as influences, combining survival-horror resource management and third-person shooting with environments that deliberately stop making sense. That includes an apartment complex with inverted gravity, an endlessly stretching shopping street and dark corridors that twist unnaturally around Reona. The fascination with unsettling liminal spaces has increasingly found its way into horror games, including Escape the Backrooms, which brought its co-op take on the concept to Nintendo Switch 2 earlier this year.
Reona will have access to 12 different powers, plus customisable weapons and outfits, with equipment that offers its own stat-altering effects. Players will also return to a base between dives to investigate individual anomalies, develop relationships with other characters and prepare for subsequent expeditions.
Peripeteia Collaboration Is Coming
FURYU has also confirmed that ANOMALITH will receive a collaboration with cyberpunk immersive sim Peripeteia. FURYU has not revealed what the crossover will add, with further details coming later.

ANOMALITH launches October 28 on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam. The standard edition is priced at US$49.99, while the US$69.99 Digital Deluxe Edition includes an 80-page digital art book, selected soundtrack tracks, and the Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office DLC set.
PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders get a 10% discount until launch, while the Steam version gets 10% off during its first two weeks. The ANOMALITH Steam page is hosting the demo through October 26.
