Behaviour Interactive Sci-Fi FPS Appears Through New Job Listing
Behaviour Interactive may be heading in a very different direction from Dead by Daylight, with a new job listing pointing to an unannounced AAA science-fiction first-person shooter.
The Canadian studio is best known for its long-running asymmetric horror game, which has continued to expand through major collaborations spanning video games, films and horror icons. Its next unannounced project, however, appears to be moving away from that formula entirely.
Behaviour Interactive Is Hiring for an Unannounced AAA Sci-Fi FPS
The details come from a Senior Technical Animator vacancy published by Behaviour Interactive. According to the listing, the position is attached to an unannounced AAA sci-fi FPS being developed using Unreal Engine.
Beyond that description, Behaviour is keeping most of the project under wraps. The role focuses on animation systems and technical pipelines, so it reveals little about the game’s story, setting, combat, or broader structure.
It also remains unclear whether the project is being designed primarily around single-player, multiplayer or some combination of the two. Still, the listing provides the clearest indication yet of what at least one of Behaviour’s unannounced projects could look like.

A Very Different Direction From Dead by Daylight
A first-person science-fiction game would represent a noticeable departure from Dead by Daylight, although Behaviour Interactive itself is hardly limited to one genre. The studio has worked across original projects and games for external partners over the years, even as Dead by Daylight became the property most closely associated with its name.
That makes it difficult to draw too many conclusions from the FPS label alone. Nothing in the listing currently suggests whether horror will remain part of the equation, nor whether Behaviour intends to build another ongoing multiplayer experience.
For now, the known details are relatively straightforward: Behaviour Interactive has an unannounced AAA sci-fi FPS in development, it is being built with Unreal Engine, and the studio is actively recruiting for the project. No title, release window, or confirmed platform list has been announced yet, so we will likely have to wait for Behaviour to reveal exactly what it is building.
