Crime Boss: Rockay City Unleashes '90s Criminality on Steam

Having originally launched for both the Xbox and PlayStation ecosystems to a less-than-favourable reception, 505 Games and INGAME STUDIOS have now shifted the target to the PC market with Crime Boss: Rockay City, which is now available on Steam.

The organised crime live service shooter combining action set-pieces, turf wars, and over-the-top call-backs to 90’s crime movies will now be open to a new group of players, but hopefully, without the growing pains of its initial release.

Extensively reworked over the past 12 months, with numerous updates, improvements, and DLC, players must fight against ridiculous odds in an explosive turf war to become king of the criminal underworld. Navigate each mission in your own playstyle to complete objectives and take over Rockay City one neighbourhood at a time, or build out your team across co-op where the stakes are high, but the rewards are higher.

“The Steam release is the next step in making Crime Boss the ultimate game in the heisting genre. We have worked so hard and listened to community feedback extensively. We’re thrilled to show the world what changes we’ve made and we have so much planned for 2024 and beyond”, said Jarek Kolář, development director at INGAME STUDIOS.

The PC launch of Crime Boss: Rockay City will attempt to entice players with a 20% discount at launch, with all previous DLC being included as a sweetner.
