GTA VI Pre-Orders Detail Multiple Bonuses
Rockstar Games has finally outlined new GTA VI preorder details, including the Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition, a Vintage Vice City Pack preorder bonus, and a free month of GTA+ for digital purchases.
GTA VI launches on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with pre-orders opening on June 25 through digital storefronts and select retailers. The new preorder breakdown gives players a clearer look at what they can expect beyond the base game, especially for those eyeing premium content tied to Jason and Lucia’s story.
The details also confirm that the Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition will include a collection of vehicles, weapons, apparel, customisation locations, and additional activities spread across Leonida. Ultimate Edition bonuses will become available to Jason and Lucia gradually as the story progresses.
GTA VI Ultimate Edition Adds Vehicles, Stores, and Extra Activities
The Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition is built around premium additions threaded through the campaign, including exclusive vehicles, weapon variants, outfits, tattoos, salons, and customisation shops.
Highlights include the ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy and Paradise Garage, the ’95 Grotti Cheetah, the Shitzu Squalo, and new vehicle options tied to Jason’s Safehouse. The edition also opens two exclusive vehicle mod shops: Rideout Customs in Vice City and One-Eyed Willie’s in Lake Leonida.
There is also a Classic Car Collection activity, where players can track down abandoned and work-in-progress project cars before restoring them. Four of these vehicles will only be available through the Ultimate Edition.
Jason and Lucia Get Exclusive Weapons and Vice City Styles
The GTA VI: Ultimate Edition also adds exclusive weapon content for both protagonists. This includes the Hawk & Little Morgan Revolver, sourced from the Vercetti Estate, with his-and-hers versions for Jason and Lucia as the story progresses.
Players will also receive personalised weapon variants for Jason’s Girardi ES9 pistol and Lucia’s Klose K17 pistol, both featuring detailed engravings. Beyond weapons, the edition adds Vice City Styles for Jason and Lucia, Goodtime Gear inspired by Macca the Gator, and access to Stock 305, an exclusive streetwear store.
Customisation extends further through Sara’s Unisex Salon and Electric Fang Tattoo, the latter of which offers more than 50 exclusive tattoos designed by the artist collective FAILE.
Vintage Vice City Pack Rewards Early Buyers
All digital purchases of GTA VI made before November 20 will include the Vintage Vice City Pack. The pack is also included with physical pre-orders while stocks last.
The Vintage Vice City Pack includes the ’55 Vapid Stanier and Shore Court Garage, giving players another personal garage near Ocean Beach. Like other personal garages in Leonida, it includes a weapon locker and secure storage for stolen goods that can be sold through a local Fence.
The pack also includes vintage outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, along with an exclusive tropical weapon pattern inspired by Tommy Vercetti’s classic palm tree shirt from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
Digital Pre-Orders Include One Free Month of GTA+
Players who preorder any edition of GTA VI through the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store will also receive one free month of GTA+. The membership includes a recurring monthly GTA$500,000 deposit for GTA Online, access to selected vehicle discounts, bonus Shark Card value, and a rotating GTA+ Games Library. The free month can be redeemed immediately after pre-ordering, although it must be redeemed before its expiry date.
After the free month ends, GTA+ will automatically renew at the regular monthly price unless cancelled. The offer is limited to one redemption per platform account.
This reveal comes at just the right time, as scammers have been using the hype train to lure unwitting players into parting ways with their hard-earned money. Now that Rockstar has played its hands, you can at least put your cash in the right place.
