GTA VI Vice City Collection Costs US$400 Without the Game
Collectors hoping Rockstar Games had something more elaborate planned for GTA VI finally have their answer, although this probably is not the traditional Collector’s Edition some expected. The Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection is an exclusive limited-edition Collector’s Box priced at US$399.99, arriving alongside the game on November 19.
One rather important omission: GTA VI itself. Rockstar explicitly states that the game is sold separately, meaning the entire US$400 asking price goes towards the collection of merchandise packed inside.
That follows Rockstar’s similarly unconventional approach to the game’s standard physical release, which contains a download code rather than a disc. Boxed copies become available from November 12 to support pre-loading ahead of launch.
Macca the Gator Leads the GTA VI Collector’s Box
At the centre of the collection is a six-inch Macca the Gator figure, complete with a twist-open stash compartment in its base. It is joined by matte-black Oakley Frogskins sunglasses fitted with Prizm Sapphire lenses and a pink GTA VI logo, alongside a New Era 9FORTY A-Frame snapback featuring Vice City and Leonida detailing.
The set also includes a Leonida Keys crossbody bag, Macca magnetic mirror, Chunkee the Manatee shot glass, Vice City swizzle spoon, and razor blade-style keychain.
Rounding everything out are nine Leonida Keys enamel pins in a metal tin, nine vinyl stickers packed in a stash bag, and a double-sided souvenir poster. One side features characters from the fictional Macca the Gator television show, while the reverse provides a full map of Leonida.
Asian Pre-Order Details Are Still Coming
Pre-orders for the Goodtime State – Vice City Collection are already open through the Rockstar Store in supported regions, with quantities described as limited. For players closer to home, there is still some waiting to do.
Rockstar says further details on how to pre-order the collection across Asia, Latin America and Australia will be announced separately. The collection begins shipping on November 19 alongside GTA VI, which launches for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Considering the US$399.99 package does not include the game, anyone looking for the complete experience will need to budget for GTA VI separately as well.
