Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis Opens Its First Battle Early

Ironhide Game Studio has confirmed that Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis will launch on September 24, with players now able to try the tower defence sequel early through a new Steam demo.

The next main entry in the Kingdom Rush series sends players back to the early days of the Kingdom, setting up a battle to rewrite history before Vez’nan’s corruption can tear everything apart. Alongside the demo, mobile pre-orders are now live through Google Play and the App Store.

A new trailer has also been released, giving players another look at the game’s return to classic Kingdom Rush tower defence, familiar fantasy chaos, and the series’ usual sense of personality.

Steam Demo Includes Four Stages And Two Heroes

The Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis Steam demo includes four stages from the full game’s 18-stage campaign, giving players an early look at the sequel’s opening chapter.

Players will be able to build with five of the full game’s 15 towers. The demo includes familiar tower types such as Archer, Mage, Artillery, and Barracks, each designed to address different tactical needs on the battlefield. The demo also introduces two of the game’s 12 heroes, Gerald and Zefira. Players can support their defences with three of the full game’s nine spells, including Reinforcements, Rain of Fire, and Royal Edict.

Iron Mode is also available in the demo, offering one of the five total modes planned for the full release. That should give returning players an early taste of how demanding the new campaign can get once enemy waves start to escalate.

Mobile Pre-Orders Are Now Open

Alongside the Steam demo, Ironhide has opened mobile pre-orders for Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis on Google Play and the App Store. That keeps the sequel in line with the series’ long-running strength across both PC and mobile, where Kingdom Rush has built one of the most recognisable names in tower defence. Players who prefer taking the Kingdom Rush formula on the go can now pre-register ahead of launch.

Ironhide said the team has poured “a ridiculous amount of love, passion, and coffee” into the sequel, adding that it is excited for players to discover its secrets, take on its challenges, and create new memories with the series.

For longtime fans, the biggest hook may be the focus on Vez’nan’s earlier story. Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis is not just another collection of stages and towers, but a return to the origins of one of the franchise’s most iconic figures.
