Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra Gameplay Leaks Online Showing Black Panther in Combat
When Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra was first revealed through a CGI trailer, it generated plenty of intrigue — and scepticism. Fans were excited by the involvement of Amy Hennig and developer Skydance, but with no gameplay shown, questions lingered about how the project would look in action. Now, leaked footage appears to provide a partial answer.
Black Panther Gameplay Surfaces
According to a report from MP1st, an early build of the game dating back to around 2022–2023 has surfaced online. The footage shows Black Panther engaged in fast-paced combat, stringing together fluid combos and acrobatic takedowns. Unlike the modern over-the-shoulder approach common in third-person action games, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra uses a fixed-camera perspective, lending encounters a more cinematic flair.
Running on Unreal Engine 5, the build also demonstrates dynamic environmental reactions, with debris, objects, and scenery responding to both gunfire and Panther’s movement. It suggests that the developers are aiming for a technically ambitious presentation that goes beyond a standard superhero brawler.

A Snapshot, Not the Final Game
It is worth noting that the footage comes from a build nearly three years old, and may not reflect the final product. Game development evolves rapidly, and much could have changed since then. Accompanying high-resolution screenshots reinforce the Parisian setting glimpsed in the CGI trailer, but feature only Black Panther, with Captain America absent from the scenes.
Release Window Still Unclear
Neither Plaion nor Skydance has commented publicly on the leaks or the state of development. Previous reports suggested a 2026 release window for Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, but with no official update, fans will have to wait for more concrete information.
Until then, the leaked footage offers the clearest look yet at Marvel 1943 — a project aiming to combine cinematic storytelling with the grounded spectacle of two of Marvel’s most iconic heroes.
