Edward Kenway, the main protagonist of Black Flag, was noticeably absent from the collection on display. Given Edward’s importance within the franchise, this omission quickly raised questions. When asked about this conspicuous absence, Dan Richard, the director of marketing and sales, offered a curious and suggestive response.
“No, I definitely saw an article about this. So I mean, if you’re not a true Assassin’s Creed fan it’s not my fault… There’s going to be something going on with Edward and our PVC 1/8th scale Edward statue will reflect that accordingly,” shared Richard. While stopping short of any direct confirmation, they hinted that fans who have been following recent rumours probably already know why Edward wasn’t shown.
