Southeast Asian Games Showcase Summer Game Fest

With Summer Game Fest 2025 just around the corner, gaming enthusiasts from all over the world will be looking forward to more AAA announcements and indie gems. When it comes to the latter, especially for those from Southeast Asia, there’s something special brewing this year. The Southeast Asian Games Showcase will be making its inaugural appearance as part of the show.

Featuring over 40 different games from Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and more, the two headliners that have been teased are:

  • Coffee Talk Tokyo (Indonesia/Japan): The newest instalment of the beloved coffee brewing and heart-to-heart talking simulator, now set in Tokyo, where humans and yokai alike co-exist.
  • Cat Quest III (Singapore): Play as a purrivateer in this 2.5D open-world action RPG set in a fantastical pirate-themed world – the Purribean – an archipelago swarming with Pi-rats searching for the Northern Star – a long-lost mythical treasure.

Expect to learn more details about each title at the showcase, including launch dates and new updates. This will be followed by a Steam sale of all available titles to satisfy your gaming needs instantly.

How to Watch the Southeast Asian Games Showcase at Summer Game Fest 2025

If you are hoping to clear your calendars, June 7 will be the key day to prepare yourself. Of course, if you are in Southeast Asia proper, the show will be late at night and extend into the next day.

It will kick off at 12 PM ET, which corresponds to 12 AM SGT on June 8. You can catch it live via YouTube on the official channel for the showcase.

“This is the first year we’ve been able to broadcast the Southeast Asian Games Showcase at a global level. It’s an honour to be representing such a talented region and to really demonstrate what Southeast Asia can add to the wider games ecosystem,” said Nissie Arcega, co-founder of Southeast Asian Games Showcase.

That’s not all. After this particular showing, there are also the Women-Led Games Showcase and Latin American Games Showcase happening as well. You can catch the other two shows at the following times and dates:

The Women-Led Games Showcase will feature 39 games in total. It aims to highlight all the efforts of women in games and support them to create a more equitable games industry.

The Latin American Games Showcase will feature 59 games with representation from countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Costa Rica, Uruguay, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, and Colombia.
