The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales Confirms June 2026 Release Dates for Physical Versions

Bandai Namco and Square Enix have confirmed that the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 physical editions of The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales will launch in Southeast Asia on June 18.

Digital editions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and the Microsoft Store on Windows are now available for pre-order, with the Steam release set for June 19. Digital pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 will be opened at a later date, according to the announcement.

Pre-Order Bonus Packs Push Early Progression

Players who pre-order will receive Elliot’s Departure Pack, a starter bundle designed to smooth the early game. The pack includes items that improve efficiency, led by the Departure Brooch accessory, which increases the amount of currency and magicite fragments dropped by enemies, plus Attack Up sword Magicite for an early combat boost.

A Digital Deluxe Edition of The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is also available for pre-order, bundling additional accessories including the Fairy Bangle, Cherry Blossom Anklet, and Roselle Ring. A physical Collector’s Edition has also been confirmed, including the base game, an original soundtrack, and a desk clock statue featuring Faie.

How Combat Is Built

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales follows Elliot and his companion Faie across a world spanning four ages, with exploration built around enemy-filled zones, hidden caves, and ancient ruins. Combat is structured around seven weapon types, ranging from swords to chains and sickles that can pull enemies in, suggesting a heavier emphasis on spacing control and crowd management than a standard single-weapon action RPG.

Weapon loadouts are customised through Magicite, allowing players to tune builds around their preferred style. Faie’s magic is positioned as a true utility layer, used both in fights and for traversal tasks such as retrieving out-of-reach items and assisting exploration.

Square Enix and Bandai Namco also confirmed several changes based on feedback from the Debut Demo currently available on Nintendo Switch 2. Improvements include faster movement speed for Elliot, refinements to the weapon shortcut menu, and additional difficulty options, indicating a push to make the game feel smoother and more flexible across different skill levels.
