Warhammer Survivors Mobile Launch Confirmed Alongside Steam Demo

Warhammer Survivors is officially coming to mobile. As part of the Warhammer Skulls Showcase, Auroch Digital confirmed that its fast-paced roguelite survival game will launch later in 2026 on Apple iOS and the Google Play Store as well, expanding the game beyond its previously announced PC and console platforms.

The mobile versions will arrive alongside releases for Steam, GOG, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. For players who want to try it early, a new Steam demo is available now, offering a first taste of its pixel art chaos across both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar.

The demo features Malum Caedo defending an Imperial Bastion from swarms of Tyranids, while Neave Blacktalon takes on Skaven across The Great Parch. It gives players an early look at how Warhammer Survivors translates familiar armies, champions, and enemy hordes into the survivors-style format.

Death Guard and Blades of Khorne Join the Fight

The latest Warhammer Survivors trailer also revealed two new enemy factions: the Death Guard from Warhammer 40,000 and the Blades of Khorne from Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Their arrival reinforces the game’s dual universe setup, with Auroch Digital drawing from both major Warhammer settings rather than limiting the action to one corner of the franchise.

In the Age of Sigmar side, Lord Commander Bastian Carthalos joins Callis and Toll in defending Hammerhal, a city split across two realms. The central Stormrift Realmgate will allow players to move between two distinct biomes within the same stage, creating a two-in-one battlefield filled with Skaven and Blades of Khorne enemies.

Bastian brings Uskavar the Sunderer into battle, striking the ground to send out waves of thunderbolts. Callis and Toll offer a different rhythm, relying on ricocheting gunfire that bounces across terrain and enemies, giving the game another layer of screen-filling spectacle.

Gallowdark, Hobby Table, and New Boss Encounters Add Variety

On the Warhammer 40,000 side, the Gallowdark stage will introduce one of the game’s Extremis bosses: a Great Unclean One. Players will also encounter an Arbites Vigilant moving through the stage’s damaged corridors, armed for close-range combat against the Death Guard.

Saint Celestine also enters the fight, bringing her revered Weapon of the Matriarch into the swarm clearing action. Her arrival should give Warhammer 40,000 fans another recognisable hero to build around when tackling the game’s escalating waves and larger threats.

Warhammer Survivors Hobby Table Stage

Auroch Digital is also introducing the Hobby Table stage to Warhammer Survivors, a playful battlefield set among paint pots, cutting mats, and tabletop hobby tools. It is a smart nod to Warhammer’s physical roots, turning the space where armies are built and painted into a stage filled with a mix of enemy factions and hidden details.

Warhammer Survivors Arrives Later This Year

Warhammer Survivors is shaping up as a broad celebration of the franchise through the survivors genre, mixing recognisable champions, faction-themed stages, and escalating enemy swarms across multiple platforms.

With mobile versions now confirmed, the game could reach a wider audience than expected when it launches later in 2026. For now, players can wishlist Warhammer Survivors and try the Steam demo ahead of release.
