Now, things are being elevated to a whole new level, with an actual anime series set to premiere with Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers.
While it has been announced previously, fans have been eagerly awaiting its actual release date to get themselves ready. Thankfully, Arc System Works and SANZIGEN have heard your pleas. The confirmed release window of Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers will be this April on Crunchyroll.
Alongside the release window is the extended main trailer for the anime, showing the main character of Sin Kiske, a child born of the union between a human (Ky) and a Gear (Dizzy). Obviously, things cannot have a happy ending, and we will get to witness just how the drama unfolds on the day of the wedding between the parents.

The decline of the once robust fields of science and technology led to a new energy source for the modern era: magic. Humanity creates Gears, forbidden biological weapons. Those same Gears eventually stand against humanity in rebellion. Although they managed to overcome the war for survival known as The Crusades, humanity’s losses were so great that even after several decades, their emotional wounds remain raw.
Sin Kiske, the child of a human and a Gear, heads to the wedding ceremony of his father Ky and his mother Dizzy. Their wedding breaks the ultimate taboo of a union between human and Gear.
