Take-two Confirms No Delay for Gta Vi with Fall 2025 Window Intact

Rockstar Games‘ decision to keep information about the most anticipated game of 2025 — GTA VI tightly under wraps will always be a calculated gamble. The series’ popularity means that there will always be excitement about it, but that also comes with plenty of speculating and rumours. The silence has not been well received by some fans, fuelling the idea that GTA VI will be pushed back from its initial Fall 2025 release window.

However, based on the company’s latest earnings call, parent company Take-Two Interactive has once again reiterated the same release window for the game. It remains on track, following the likes of Sid Meier’s Civilization VII, PGA Tour 2K25, WWE 2K25, and Mafia: The Old Country. The other big project, Borderlands 4, remains without a release window or date.

Of course, a release window is still pretty vague, and for those who cannot wait to get their hands on GTA VI and its dual protagonist approach, there’s still room for worrying. After all, there can be unforeseen circumstances that might require the shifting of the release, even as good as Rockstar Games is at delivering blockbuster hits.

The lack of updates will likely continue, as this has been the modus operandi of the studio for quite some time now. And as much as the community clamours for more information, we probably won’t hear much from the developers until much closer to the release.

GTA VI is set to be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
