Cyberpunk 2077 x Gunnar Militech Glasses Expand The Licensed Collection

Gunnar Optiks is expanding its Cyberpunk 2077 collaboration with a new Militech design, following the earlier release of the Dex glasses from the same licensed collection. The Cyberpunk 2077 x Gunnar Militech glasses are inspired by Militech’s soldiers and operators, bringing the megacorporation’s black-and-yellow combat palette into a pair of gaming and screen-use glasses built around a high-wrap shield frame.

The new model from Gunnar will be available from June 18, with an MSRP of US$99, and will come in either Onyx or Signal Yellow frames, with Amber and Sun lens options.

Militech Design Takes A More Tactical Approach

Where the earlier Dex glasses leaned into Dexter DeShawn’s oversized, futuristic fixer look, the Militech glasses move in a more tactical direction. The frame uses a premium engineered polymer with rugged lines, sharp geometry, and a wide fit. Gunnar describes the high-wrap shield design as being built to improve peripheral clarity and situational awareness, while still fitting the broader Cyberpunk 2077 aesthetic.

That makes the Militech model feel closer to field gear than fashion eyewear. It is clearly designed to look at home beside Night City’s most militarised megacorp, especially with Militech branding across the frame and collector accessories.

Amber And Sun Lenses Target Long Screen Sessions

The Militech glasses feature the company’s patented lens technology, with Amber and Sun lens options available. The Amber version uses Gunnar-Focus lenses, while the Sun version uses Neutral-Focus lenses. Both are designed to help reduce digital eye strain, improve contrast and support focus during long screen sessions.

The glasses also include G-Shield Plus coating, which adds anti-reflective and smudge-resistant protection. The eyewear also sports blue-light filtering and 100% UV protection among the key features. For players who spend long stretches in Cyberpunk 2077, competitive games, work setups or extended screen sessions, the practical pitch is clear. This is still a collector’s item, but it is also functional gaming eyewear.

Collector Accessories Continue The Cyberpunk 2077 Theme

Each pair of Cyberpunk 2077 x Gunnar Militech glasses includes a Militech-branded metal collector’s case, collector microfiber pouch, collector microfiber cleaning cloth and a 12-month warranty.

That follows the approach used for the Dex glasses, which launched with themed packaging, a padded, puffy sleeve, and a collector’s cleaning cloth. The Dex model was listed at US$125, while the Militech model arrives at a lower price point.

The wider collection now covers two very different parts of Night City. Dex channels the influence and swagger of one of Watson’s most recognisable fixers, while Militech turns one of the game’s most powerful corporations into a sharper, more tactical eyewear design.

For collectors and players looking for licensed gaming gear beyond statues, apparel and peripherals, the Militech glasses give the Cyberpunk 2077 x Gunnar line another distinct Night City-inspired option.
