Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remake Launches This July With More Tricks

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remake is Set to Launch in July 2025.

Sports games have traditionally been a key part of the gaming landscape, but that usually applies to those with more mass market appeal. Extreme sports, however, have not been able to sustain that same kind of interest, but that is not stopping Activision from bringing back an old classic. After plenty of rumours swirling about, the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 remake has now been officially announced.

The remake will be led up by the folks over at Iron Galaxy. Following the same approach as the first and second installments’ remake a few years ago, Activision has officially confirmed that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 will be a full-fledged remake. The debut trailer showcases significant visual upgrades, revamping almost everything — from lighting effects and character models to the overall atmosphere and level details that players will experience.

In addition to modernised visuals, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 will introduce several new elements to bring the game to modern standards, including a broader range of tricks to execute, brand-new skate parks, additional soundtrack selections, and a roster of renowned skaters from the younger generation alongside the return of legendary skaters. Activision has also promised various hidden content to be unlocked within the game.

For those eager to jump into multiplayer action, the game will also feature online multiplayer support for up to eight players in a cross-platform format. If shredding isn’t enough for you and your friends, the team has also confirmed that anyone who purchases the Digital Deluxe or Collector’s Edition will receive exclusive access to iconic characters, the Doom Slayer and Revenant, to use as skaters in the remake.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is slated for release on July 11 and will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
