LUNAR PULSE Tokyo Game Show 2026 Demo Brings Its Death Game to Asia
Fahrenheit 213 and GIANTY are bringing LUNAR PULSE to Tokyo Game Show 2026, where its first playable demo in Asia will be available from September 17 to 21.
The single-player roguelite card game is scheduled to launch for PC through Steam in 2027 and is being led by Fahrenheit 213 CEO Yosuke Shiokawa, whose previous work includes Fate/Gtrand Order, Kingdom Hearts and Dissidia Final Fantasy.
TGS attendees can play roughly 15 minutes of the game at the Indie Game Area, booth 09-E17, with the demo featuring full Japanese voice acting from four newly announced cast members.
LUNAR PULSE Shows You Every Card Before You Die
The basic premise is refreshingly cruel. LUNAR PULSE traps 13 witches within an eternal moonlit ritual where defeat can mean death, translating that pressure directly into its card battles.
Both the player and opponent can see each other’s complete hands. Each side then chooses one card simultaneously, turning every action into an attempt to predict what the other person will do. Instead of relying purely on attack values, players can use DODGE, PARRY and GUARD to counter incoming actions, with a single incorrect decision potentially ending the encounter immediately.
Battles are designed to last under 60 seconds, built around 15-card decks and five-card hands. Roguelite progression lets players strengthen and customise their deck between attempts.
Every Failed Run Reveals More of the Witches
Repeated deaths tie directly into the story. Each new loop reveals more about the ritual and the witches trapped within it, with multiple endings gradually uncovering the truth surrounding the protagonist, Lilith of Heresy, and the mysterious thirteenth seat she occupies.
Fahrenheit 213 has now confirmed four members of the Japanese voice cast: Teiko Nanahara as Lilith of Heresy, Yuka Hiiragi as Lilith of the Guardian, Hikari Senga as Lilith of Maidenhood and Neo Tanaka as Lilith of Judgement.
Tokyo Game Show Marks the First Asia Playable Demo
The Tokyo Game Show build will be the game’s first playable showcase in Asia. Fahrenheit 213 says members of the development team will also attend during the Business Days on September 17 and 18, while limited promotional items will be available at the booth.
For a card game where every option is laid plainly in front of you, surviving apparently comes down to one uncomfortable question: how well can you read the person sitting across the table?
LUNAR PULSE launches for PC through Steam in 2027, with support planned for 15 languages. Japanese will also feature full voice acting.
