This means that hundreds of countries may be unable to purchase or play the game through official channels, situation that feels especially contradictory given Sony’s recent softening stance on PC region-locking, seen after the success of Stellar Blade.
With a projected release sometime in 2026, there’s still time for Sony to reconsider this controversial policy.
