New Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Map Teases Tony Hawk Game

Speculation is Reaching New Heights After Activision Subtly Teased the Upcoming Tony Hawk Game in a Recent Update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

For gamers who grew up with the original PlayStation, the Tony Hawk series holds a special place in their hearts, and of course, in gaming history. Not only did the skating sim allow many kids to live out their dream of becoming a skateboarder, but it also featured an smashing soundtracks. While the genre has not been active in recent times, Activision appears to be making some moves as a new entry in the franchise is reportedly in the works.

Though Activision has yet to make an official announcement, rumours surrounding a new game have been circulating for quite some time. Tony Hawk himself confirmed back in 2024 that he was actively working with the publisher — now under Microsoft’s ownership. Additionally, professional skater Tyshawn Jones previously revealed his involvement in an unannounced Tony Hawk remaster project.

Now, the speculation has manifested in visible form after Activision subtly teased the upcoming Tony Hawk game in a recent update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Within the new skateboarding-themed multiplayer map called Grind, players have discovered a small skate shop featuring a poster with the classic Tony Hawk logo.

More interestingly, the poster also displays a date: March 4, 2025. Popular Call of Duty and shooter news account CharlieIntel posted about this discovery on social media, and instead of the usual silence, has received cryptic responses from both the man himself and Microsoft in the form of emojis.

With this teaser now in the open, signs are pointing to a new game for the series on the horizon. However, rather than a brand-new instalment, it is likely that this will be a Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Remaster kind of situation, following the success of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Remaster, which was released in 2020 to positive reviews.

It remains unclear whether March 4 marks the official announcement or a surprise launch. Fans will have to wait and see if they will be shredding anytime soon.
