Capcom TRYX Collaboration Brings Resident Evil and Pragmata to PC Hardware
Capcom is expanding beyond games with a new hardware collaboration, teaming up with premium PC brand TRYX for two limited-edition All-In-One liquid coolers inspired by some very different sides of its catalogue.
The first celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Resident Evil series, while the second draws its design inspiration from Pragmata, the new sci-fi action-adventure released earlier this year.
Both editions will form part of TRYX’s upcoming flagship AIO cooler line and are planned for worldwide release, although the companies are holding back the actual product designs for now.
Resident Evil Marks 30 Years With a Special-Edition Cooler
The Resident Evil edition is intended to commemorate three decades of the survival horror series, which first arrived in 1996 and has since grown into one of the publisher’s defining franchises.
TRYX describes the cooler as a collectible centrepiece for custom PC builds, although neither company has shown exactly how the series’ visual identity will be incorporated into the hardware.
That leaves plenty still unknown, including whether the design will lean into a particular era, character or game from the franchise. Pricing has not been announced either.
Pragmata Gets a More Futuristic Design
The second cooler takes inspiration from Pragmata, with TRYX promising a sleeker sci-fi aesthetic reflecting the game’s lunar setting.
The pairing makes plenty of sense for custom PC hardware. Pragmata combines futuristic technology with Hugh and Diana’s journey across a robot-infested lunar station, while its hacking-focused combat has given the company’s newest IP a distinctive visual and mechanical identity.
Final Designs and Availability Are Still to Come
The partnership announcement has confirmed that both limited-edition coolers will be available worldwide, but has not yet revealed regional pricing, specifications, or release dates.
Those details, alongside the final product designs, are expected to be shared through the companies’ official channels in the coming weeks.
For now, the collaboration offers two very different ways to bring the Japanese gaming giant’s IPs into a custom PC setup, whether you prefer Resident Evil‘s survival-horror legacy or Pragmata‘s futuristic world.
