Sony Singapore Launches REON POCKET PRO Plus, WIth REON POCKET 6 as Standard Option

Sony has launched the REON POCKET PRO Plus in Singapore as the new flagship in its wearable thermo device range, designed to sit on the back of the neck and cool or warm the body surface at the point of contact.

The key promise is not only stronger cooling but also better stability during movement, addressing one of the most common friction points for wearable cooling devices: performance drops when the fit shifts.

On paper, the REON POCKET PRO Plus targets a more consistent experience through a revised thermal design and an updated cooling algorithm. Sony also frames this model as a series-leading option, aimed at users who want the most aggressive cooling available in the line, particularly on hot commutes, long outdoor waits, or any scenario where you are walking and the contact point needs to remain steady.

Adaptive Hold Design and Adjustable Venting Focus on Real-World Wear

The biggest hardware change is the new neckband built around an Adaptive Hold Design, intended to improve holding force and maintain better contact with the skin during walking or light activity. Sony’s approach is straightforward: the more stable the contact, the more predictable the cooling performance, and the less you are forced to adjust it throughout the day.

Sony has also redesigned the Air Vent Cover with an adjustable mechanism, allowing users to adjust the length and angle of the exhaust to suit different collar heights and clothing styles. In practice, this is meant to keep the REON POCKET PRO Plus discreet and effective, whether you are in a T-shirt or a collared shirt, while still dumping heat efficiently away from the unit.

Reon Pocket Tag 2 Comes in the Kit, With a More Flexible Attachment

The REON POCKET PRO Plus kit includes the REON POCKET TAG 2, a compact sensing accessory designed to measure ambient temperature and humidity more precisely for the system’s automatic modes. Sony is also changing how it is carried, replacing the rear clip approach with a strap hole and included carabiner so it can be attached to bags or belt loops more easily.

Sony is also keeping backward compatibility in mind. The original REON POCKET TAG remains compatible with both the PRO Plus and the REON POCKET 6, which matters for existing users who prefer the older attachment style or already have the accessory in their setup.

REON POCKET 6 Fits as the Smaller, Cheaper Alternative

Alongside the flagship, Sony is also releasing the REON POCKET 6 as the sixth-generation standard model, keeping a similar overall body size to the previous version while introducing its own dual-module approach and updated cooling behaviour. It adds a more flexible neckband design and a redesigned vent cover concept that align with Sony’s “fit to attire” direction across the range.

The simplest way to read the lineup is this: PRO Plus is designed for maximum cooling performance and stable contact while moving, while the POCKET 6 is the more affordable entry with a compact form factor and a refreshed comfort and fit approach.

The REON POCKET PRO Plus and REON POCKET 6 are available in Singapore now via the Sony Stores and Sony Store Online.
