Resident Evil Requiem Preorders Open with Deluxe Edition and Fan-Favourite Bonus
With Resident Evil Requiem set to be one of Capcom’s biggest releases of 2026, the publisher is ramping up excitement with the reveal of its Deluxe Edition, complete with an eye-catching homage to one of the series’ most iconic villains.
Following months of teasers, Capcom has officially opened preorders for Resident Evil Requiem, confirming an early 2026 release. The Deluxe Edition, available at a higher price point, comes packed with extra in-game bonuses — led by a Lady Dimitrescu-inspired costume for the game’s new protagonist, Grace.
A Tribute to a Fan-Favourite Villain
The “Grace’s Costume: Dimitrescu” outfit is the highlight of the Deluxe Edition, transforming the protagonist’s look with a gothic design reminiscent of Resident Evil Village’s towering vampire matriarch. The costume doesn’t simply alter her clothing; it also changes Grace’s facial tone and eye colour, giving her a haunting elegance that serves as both tribute and reinvention.
Fans have quickly taken to social media to celebrate the crossover-style inclusion, with many praising Capcom for blending fan service with thematic flair.

Capcom also revealed the complete list of items included in the Deluxe Edition:
- Five costumes, including Grace’s Costume: Dimitrescu
- Two visual filters, such as Filter: Apocalypse
- Four weapon skins, including S&S M232 Weapon Skin: Apocalypse
- Two charms, including Charm: Mr. Raccoon
- Audio Pack: Raccoon City Classic*
- Files: Letters from 1998*
Players who preorder will also receive the exclusive Grace’s Costume: Apocalypse bonus outfit.
For those not opting for the Deluxe Edition, Capcom confirmed that all additional content will be sold as standalone DLC post-launch, allowing players to pick and choose their preferred extras.
A Promising Next Step for the Series
Resident Evil Requiem introduces a new protagonist, Grace, and promises to return the franchise to its classic survival-horror roots, while integrating the refined action and cinematic presentation seen in Resident Evil 4 Remake.
With its stylish Deluxe Edition and nostalgic references, Capcom is ensuring that Requiem not only honours the series’ legacy but also sets the stage for its next evolution.
The game launches on February 27, 2026, across all major platforms.
