Revenge of the Savage Planet Invades Two Point Museum in New Update
A Chaotic Crossover Arrives
Two Point Studios has unveiled one of its most unexpected crossovers yet. A new free update brings the universe of Revenge of the Savage Planet into Two Point Museum, merging alien survival chaos with the series’ signature management mayhem.
Released in partnership with Raccoon Logic Studios and SEGA, the crossover is available now across PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch 2. Rather than a cosmetic collaboration, the update introduces new content that meaningfully expands the management sim’s expedition and exhibit systems.
Exploring the Savage Planet Through the Digiverse
The crossover is framed around the discovery of a mysterious new rift, sending curators hurtling deep into the Digiverse. From there, players can explore three new Points of Interest inspired directly by Revenge of the Savage Planet, including Stellaris Prime, Xephyr, and the Zenithian Rift.
These expeditions lean into a survival-lite structure, tasking curators with navigating hostile environments filled with unpredictable flora, bizarre biology, and creatures that rarely behave as expected. The emphasis remains firmly on experimentation and controlled chaos rather than traditional combat, staying true to Two Point Museum’s design philosophy.
New Alien Exhibits and Staff Shenanigans
Successful expeditions reward players with six brand-new exhibits drawn from the Savage Planet universe. These include new Botany Exhibits alongside Terrarium and Habitat creatures that are as temperamental as they are visually striking. Expect snapping plants, mischievous organisms, and displays that keep visitors delighted and staff mildly terrified.
Staff management also receives a thematic twist. New Staff Room items prioritise morale over safety, introducing additions like the High-Five Machine and a staff-sized Hamster Wheel. A new interstellar staff outfit completes the look, ensuring employees are dressed appropriately for questionable scientific practices.
The collaboration works both ways. For the first time, players can discover themed exhibits within Revenge of the Savage Planet, creating a reciprocal crossover that encourages fans of both games to explore the other universe.
This mutual exchange reinforces the playful tone of the update and highlights the shared comedic DNA between the two titles.

Nintendo Switch 2 Content and What Comes Next
Alongside the crossover, Nintendo Switch 2 players also gain access to the Free Winter Seasonal Update and the Zooseum Free Taster content. These additions introduce festive decorations and a preview of animal-focused gameplay ahead of the full Zooseum expansion.
Two Point Museum: Zooseum is scheduled to launch on Nintendo Switch 2 in early 2026, expanding the museum formula into wildlife conservation-themed chaos.
