EA Sports FC 27 Soundtrack Features 120 Tracks From 36 Nations
Electronic Arts has revealed the full soundtrack for EA Sports FC 27, bringing together 120 tracks from artists across 36 nations ahead of the football game’s September 25 launch. As usual, the lineup mixes established names with emerging artists and several songs making their debut through the game.
Among the more recognisable additions are Interpol, The Neighbourhood, The Strokes, The War on Drugs, Royal Blood, Nia Archives, Chase & Status, Little Simz and Barry Can’t Swim.
They are joined by newer artists including The Itch, Sycco, Bruvvy, Temper City, bed and Rose Gray, while Cage The Elephant and Mura Masa are among those contributing previously unreleased music.
Cage The Elephant Debuts New Music in EA Sports FC 27
Cage The Elephant’s Dying In Reverse will make its debut through EA Sports FC 27, continuing the series’ long history of introducing players to new music alongside familiar artists. Brazilian artist KYAN also appears with “Garage”, created alongside Enzo from the Block and Mu540.
For KYAN, the inclusion carries a little more significance, having grown up playing EA’s football games himself before eventually ending up on their soundtrack. The complete playlist is already available through Spotify ahead of launch.
The Grounds Gives Each District Its Own Sound
Music also plays a larger role within EA Sports FC 27 itself. The Grounds, the new shared social football space supporting up to 100 players, contains three districts shaped around different football cultures. Parkside draws from British working-class football culture, Montclair represents urban French football, while Zeiza takes inspiration from Argentina’s Potrero tradition.
Each area will have its own curated music, giving the three locations distinct audio identities alongside their different visual styles and activities. That makes the soundtrack more than something players hear while navigating menus, particularly for anyone spending significant time inside The Grounds.
FC Mobile Players Can Vote for New Music
EA is extending the soundtrack celebrations to EA Sports FC Mobile for its third anniversary. Players can currently vote between five tracks from the new EA Sports FC 27 soundtrack, with voting running until September 12, and the winning song will be added to FC Mobile on October 12.
A separate community vote for older fan-favourite songs from EA football soundtrack history will also add the winning retro track on September 24. Whether any of this year’s 120 songs ends up becoming one of those tracks permanently associated with endless Career Mode menus remains to be seen.
EA Sports FC 27 launches worldwide on September 25 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. Ultimate Edition and Ultimate Plus Edition players can begin playing from September 18.
