Glassbreakers Champions of Moss Heads to Apple Vision Pro with Full Cross-Platform Support

Glassbreakers Breaks New Ground — Now Coming to Apple Vision Pro

Polyarc has announced that Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss will officially launch on Apple Vision Pro and Meta devices this November 13, marking a significant expansion for the competitive VR strategy game. Already available on Steam, this new release brings full cross-platform play between Apple, Meta, and PC players.

Developed in Unreal Engine, Glassbreakers becomes the first Apple Arcade title built in Unreal Engine to launch on Apple Vision Pro. This notable milestone could pave the way for more VR developers to bring their projects to Apple’s platform.

Breaking New Technical Ground on Apple Vision Pro

According to lead engineer Jason Tranchida, adapting the Unreal Engine to Apple’s visionOS required extensive collaboration with Apple. Polyarc implemented a suite of optimisation techniques — including multiview rendering, multilayering, and fixed foveated rendering — to ensure high fidelity and smooth performance on the Vision Pro’s cutting-edge hardware.

“Our goal was to give players the same fast-paced, strategic experience regardless of what headset they own,” said Tranchida. “Integrating Unreal Engine with visionOS not only brought Glassbreakers to Vision Pro, but also opens the door for other studios to do the same.”

Designed for Hands, Eyes, and Strategy

On Apple Vision Pro, Glassbreakers takes full advantage of the headset’s hand tracking, eye gaze, and gesture-based input. Instead of relying on controllers, players use natural movements to command Champions and interact with the game board — a design that co-founder Danny Bulla describes as “instinctive and magical”.

“It’s such a fun experience to control the battlefield using only your hands and eyes,” Bulla explained. “You feel like you’re orchestrating chaos without ever lifting a controller.”

A Unified Community and Early Access Rewards

To celebrate the new platform launches, Polyarc is hosting a Glassbreakers Preview Weekend from October 24 to 26, exclusively for Meta players. Pre-orders on Meta are now open, offering a 20% discount and a special cosmetic Founder Pack. Players who joined the game’s Early Access or Open Beta will automatically receive the full game and Founder Pack for free when it goes live.

Polyarc also plans to share its modified Unreal Engine build publicly, allowing other studios to benefit from its integration work with Apple’s Vision Pro.

As Glassbreakers expands across platforms, Polyarc’s ambitious vision for accessible, high-quality mixed reality experiences continues to take shape. What began as a bold experiment in competitive VR is now evolving into one of the most technically significant cross-platform titles in the space.
