HONOR Magic V6 Singapore Launch Pushes Foldables Deeper Into Productivity Territory
HONOR has launched the HONOR Magic V6 in Singapore, with its latest book-style foldable priced from SG$2,599 and positioned around durability, battery life, AI multitasking, and closer integration with Apple devices.
The launch follows HONOR’s growing foldable push in Singapore, where the previous HONOR Magic V5 already made a strong case for slimmer hardware and longer endurance. With the HONOR Magic V6, the company is going further on practical productivity features, particularly for users who may still rely on iPhones, MacBooks, AirPods, or Apple Watch as part of their daily workflow.
Pre-orders are available until June 11, with the phone reaching stores nationwide from June 12. The HONOR Magic V6 comes in Ferghana Red, Sunrise Gold, Ivory White, and Classic Black, with two configurations available: 16GB RAM with 512GB storage at SG$2,599, and 16GB RAM with 1TB storage at SG$2,899.
Cross-OS Features Are The Big Productivity Play
One of the most interesting aspects of the HONOR Magic V6 is its attempt to work more seamlessly across the Android and Apple ecosystems.
With iCloud Connect, users can access and manage iCloud files from the foldable’s larger display. HONOR Connect also enables file, photo, and video transfers between the HONOR Magic V6, iPhone, and MacBook, reducing some of the friction that usually comes with mixing Android phones and Apple computers.
The phone also supports Cross-OS Magic Ring for Mac Screen Extension, allowing the foldable to function as a second display for a MacBook. AirPods users get pop-up pairing, noise controls, and Find My tracking support, while notifications can be synced across iPhone and Apple Watch.
AI Multitasking Makes The Inner Screen Matter More
The HONOR Magic V6 also leans heavily into large-screen multitasking. Its Multi-Flex system supports up to three simultaneous split-screen apps on the inner display, allowing users to watch content, reply to messages, browse, edit documents, conduct research, or manage emails from a single workspace.
HONOR is also introducing Fast-Flex, a hardware-driven AI feature that activates Gemini through a partial fold. The idea is to make common tasks, such as planning travel, creating menus, or studying, easier to trigger without manually digging through apps. The HONOR Magic V6 aims to show that the inner display can serve as a more compact productivity surface, especially when paired with AI shortcuts and flexible app layouts.
Durability And Battery Life Stay Central To The Foldable Pitch
The HONOR Magic V6 measures 8.75mm when folded and 4.0mm when unfolded, while weighing around 219g for the Ivory White model. It also uses the HONOR Super Steel Hinge, which the company says has a tensile strength of 2,800MPa and has been tested for up to 500,000 folding cycles.
The battery is another major upgrade. The HONOR Magic V6 includes a 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery, with 80W wired charging, 66W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. HONOR says it is the largest battery capacity in a foldable smartphone, and the phone has also received TÜV Rheinland 24-hour Battery Life Certification for inner-screen usage.
Displays, Cameras, And Pre-Order Offers Round Out The Package
The HONOR Magic V6 uses what HONOR calls Magic Diamond Displays, pairing Anti-Scratch NanoCrystal Shield on the outer screen with upgraded Ultra-Tough Glass on the inner screen. The outer display reaches up to 6,000-nit peak brightness, while the inner display reaches up to 5,000 nits, with both offering a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
Durability continues with IP68 and IP69 protection for dust, immersion, and high-pressure water sprays. The phone also includes a 64MP telephoto camera with CIPA 6.5 image stabilisation, supported by HONOR’s Portrait Engine and Magic Pose for AI-guided posing suggestions.
For launch, HONOR is offering pre-order gifts worth up to SG$1,088 while stocks last. The bundle includes a Flagship Action Camera OSMO ACTION 6 and 365-day inner and outer screen protection.
