Atre: Dominance Wars Early Access Brings God Powers To 4X Strategy

Ironward has confirmed that Atre: Dominance Wars will launch into Early Access on June 8 for PC via Steam and GOG. The fantasy strategy game blends 4X empire-building, tactical warfare, high-stakes diplomacy, and godlike magic, placing players in the role of immortal Elders fighting for absolute dominance.

The game is set in a fractured world threatened by a catastrophic event known as The Merge, where reality itself is unstable and power carries dangerous consequences.

Atre: Dominance Wars is built around a simple but ambitious fantasy: become powerful enough to reshape the world. Players will build empires, command evolved armies, manipulate allies and enemies, and research spells capable of changing the battlefield as they push toward godhood.

The Merge Turns The World Into A Constant Threat

Atre: Dominance Wars takes place in a realm torn apart by The Merge, a cataclysm that threatens to destroy and reshape the playable world. Players must capture regions, bind lands to their Throne, and protect their domain from collapse while trying to outmanoeuvre rival Elders.

The Early Access version will include three campaign levels, skirmish, solo play, multiplayer and a map editor, with more than 20 hours of gameplay available at launch. CEO Hrvoje Horvatek said the team is happy with the current state of the game, but believes Atre: Dominance Wars still has more potential to reach with its community. With Early Access, player feedback can help shape the campaign and future content.
