In an era where asymmetrical multiplayer games are everywhere, it can be considered a huge achievement, and that is where Dead by Daylight has certainly thrived. While the gameplay itself is fun and tense, it is through new updates and collaborations that continue to keep the scene alive. And the latest partnership between Behaviour Interactive and Junji Ito is certainly worth keeping an eye on.
After previously bringing in big names like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Castlevania, Dead by Daylight has now teamed up with legendary Japanese horror manga artist – Junji Ito.
But before you get too excited about killers and spirits, this collaboration doesn’t bring new characters but instead focuses on cosmetic items. The game will feature eight cosmetic items inspired by Junji Ito’s popular works, from Tomie to The Hanging Balloons. These cosmetic items are tied to specific characters, as follows:
- The Artist – Miss Fuchi – Legendary
- The Spirit – Tomie – Legendary
- The Twins – Hikizuris’ Dark Past – Very Rare
- The Trickster – Soichi’s Party Clothes – Very Rare
- The Dredge – Half Spirits’ Torments – Ultra Rare
- Yui Kimura – Tsukiko’s Uniform – Very Rare
- Yun-Jin Lee – Terumi’s Fame – Very Rare
- Kate Denson – Puppet’s Troubled Ballet – Very Rare
“An artistic visionary whose stories have terrified readers around the world, Junji Ito has made his mark on the horror genre. It’s only fitting that his creations have been brought into The Fog, and the Junji Ito Collection features eight chilling Outfits inspired by some of his most iconic and unsettling characters,” shared the development team.
