Zenless Zone Zero Orphie & Magus Glasses Join Gunnar Optiks
Gunnar Optiks is continuing its collaboration with HoYoverse, turning another pair of Zenless Zone Zero characters into officially licensed gaming eyewear. The new Zenless Zone Zero Orphie & Magus Glasses launch on November 5, following the earlier Soldier 11 model.
This time, Gunnar Optiks has drawn from the contrasting personalities and visual identities of Orphie and Magus, members of the Obol Squad whose partnership is reflected across an intentionally asymmetrical frame.
Rather than recreating the single-shield profile used for the existing Soldier 11 glasses, the new design adopts a more conventional rectangular silhouette wrapped in Gunnar Optiks’ Crimson Onyx Vortex colourway.
Orphie and Magus Inspire an Asymmetrical Design
The most immediately noticeable detail is found along the temples. Each side uses a different colour treatment inspired by Orphie and Magus, while angular lines, contrasting accents and smaller faction references tie the frame back into Zenless Zone Zero’s New Eridu aesthetic. The sales sheet describes the frame as precision-engineered polymer, with multi-barrel hinges designed around comfort and durability.
It is also a noticeably less overt gaming design than Soldier 11’s tactical visor-inspired shape, potentially making the new pair easier to wear beyond a gaming setup.
Orphie & Magus remain part of the Obol Squad alongside Soldier 11, giving Gunnar Optiks a natural continuation point for its collaboration. HoYoverse currently lists the duo among Zenless Zone Zero’s playable roster, with their paired character design built around Orphie and the rather more outspoken Magus.
The release follows a growing slate of gaming collaborations for Gunnar Optiks, including its recent Cyberpunk 2077 Arasaka glasses and previous Militech-inspired model.
Three Lens Options Cover Gaming and Outdoor Use

The Orphie & Magus glasses are being offered with Amber, Sun and Amber Max lenses. There are four configurations in total: Amber with Gunnar Focus, Sun with Neutral Focus, and Amber Max with either Gunnar Focus or Neutral Focus.
All use Gunnar Optiks’ G-Shield anti-reflective coating. The company says its lens technology is designed to help reduce digital eye strain while filtering blue light and blocking 100% of UV rays. The Sun option naturally pushes the design towards outdoor use, while Amber and Amber Max are aimed more directly at extended screen sessions.
The medium-width frame measures 136mm across and weighs 69.7g without packaging. Each purchase also includes a themed collector’s microfiber pouch, collector’s cleaning cloth and a 12-month warranty.
Gunnar Optiks Builds Out Its Zenless Zone Zero Collection
The Orphie & Magus model becomes the second release in Gunnar Optiks’ Zenless Zone Zero partnership following Soldier 11, giving the range two very different interpretations of the Obol Squad.
Soldier 11 takes the more aggressive approach with a tactical single-shield lens, while Orphie & Magus trade that silhouette for asymmetry and a more traditional rectangular profile. The partnership also lands while Zenless Zone Zero continues to grow well beyond its original launch, having previously emerged as one of PlayStation’s biggest gacha performers.
The Zenless Zone Zero Orphie & Magus Glasses launch on November 5, with regional pricing yet to be detailed.
