Aquapark Tycoon Early Access Opens Its Gates This Month

Boxelware has confirmed that Aquapark Tycoon will launch into Early Access on July 22 for Windows PC via Steam. The water park management sim gives players full control over their own aquatic resort, from simple splash pools and food stalls to sprawling slide networks, themed attractions, and wellness areas.

It is a lighter, more playful take on the tycoon formula, but it still seems packed with enough tools for players who enjoy detailed park-building systems. Since its first playable demos, Boxelware says it has expanded the game with more management features, additional building options, new attractions, and several modes designed to support different playstyles.

Build Pools, Slides, Saunas, and Themed Parks

At launch, Aquapark Tycoon will include 45 pools, water slides, and saunas. Players can customise swimming pools by shape, temperature, depth, and water type, and add attractions to make each area feel more distinct. The slide editor is one of the game’s most powerful tools, giving players full creative control over twisting, towering designs that can look either practical or completely unhinged.

Saunas are also part of the management loop, with players able to customise shape, temperature, humidity, furnishings, and infusion schedules. It is a surprisingly specific feature, but it fits the wider fantasy of building a water park that can appeal to thrill-seekers, families, and guests looking for something slower.

Co-Op and Free Play Add More Ways to Build

One of the bigger additions for Early Access is online co-op. Players will be able to team up with friends to design and manage a shared water park, which should make the game much easier to recommend for those who prefer collaborative building sims over solo management projects.

There will also be a Free Play mode with customisable parameters and 8 biomes. That mode is aimed at players who simply want to build at their own pace without being pushed too hard by objectives or financial pressure. For those who prefer structured challenges, Aquapark Tycoon will launch with 13 scenarios, each offering different goals, constraints, and park-building problems to solve.

For streamers, Aquapark Tycoon will include Twitch integration that lets viewers appear inside the water park as guests. That could be a smart fit for the game’s tone. Watching a community wander through player-built slides, pools, and saunas has plenty of potential for light chaos, especially if the park is not exactly built to professional safety standards.

Management Systems Go Beyond the Water

While the slides and pools are the most obvious draw, Aquapark Tycoon still includes several traditional tycoon systems. Players will manage finances, marketing, decor, and employees while adapting to dynamic seasonal changes and day-and-night cycles. The game also includes 18 shops for food, drinks, and merchandise, giving parks more ways to serve guests and generate revenue.

Four themed worlds are available in Early Access: Pirates, Fantasy, Tropics, and Antiquity. Combined with the game’s building tools, those themes should give players room to create parks that feel visually distinct rather than purely functional.
