Call of Duty: Mobile Garena Battle Royale Cup 2026 Offers US$40,000
Garena is putting Call of Duty: Mobile Battle Royale into the regional esports spotlight with the first Call of Duty: Mobile Garena Battle Royale Cup 2026.
The new tournament carries a US$40,000 prize pool and will conclude with an offline Grand Finals in Manila on November 7 and 8. Ten teams will ultimately travel to the Philippines, with seven places reserved for teams qualifying from Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines, while Indonesia and Thailand receive one representative each. A final slot will represent Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau.
Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines Qualifiers Are Open to Everyone
Registrations are already open for teams of four to five players across Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. Players can register for the tournament here until September 21 at 11.59 PM SGT.
Qualifiers then run from September 26 to October 4 using a single-elimination structure with one round per map. Surviving teams move into the Group Stage on October 10 and 11, where 40 squads will be divided into four groups of 10. The top five teams from each group progress, reducing the field to 20 for the Playoffs.
Those remaining teams then compete across eight maps on October 17 and 18, with the seven highest-ranked squads earning the available Grand Finals places.
New EndGame Protocol Decides the Champion in Manila
The Manila finals introduce a different approach to deciding the winner. Up to 12 maps will be played across the two-day event under the new EndGame Protocol. Instead of simply finishing with the most points, teams must first reach a designated points threshold to become championship-eligible. Once eligible, that team must then win a map outright to secure the championship.
The competition ends immediately once an eligible squad wins. That adds another layer to the final stages, as a team can perform consistently enough to reach the threshold without necessarily being able to close out the tournament until it actually wins a map.
Battle Royale Gets a Bigger Garena Esports Stage
The tournament gives Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena players a dedicated regional pathway built entirely around Battle Royale. It will also become Garena’s second offline regional Call of Duty: Mobile event in the Philippines this year, following the Garena Summer Invitational in May.
The game’s Battle Royale offering currently includes maps such as Isolated, Blackout and Alcatraz, alongside its more traditional Multiplayer modes. Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena is available on iOS and Android, with registration for the Battle Royale Cup open now.
For Singapore squads that have spent years surviving the final circles together, there is now a considerably bigger reason to make it to the end.
