Co-Op Cooking Adventure SEDAP! A Culinary Adventure Delayed to May

It is always exciting to see something local get onto the global stage, and for Singapore gamers, co-op cooking mayhem was supposedly on the way with SEDAP! A Culinary Adventure in April from kopiforge and The Iterative Collective. However, a new update from the team has since seen the game delayed further to late May.

“It’s really unfortunate, but we have to push our PC release back by another month to tidy up a couple of things,” shared producer Jay Wong via Steam.

“As a producer, I’m quite embarrassed to be delaying a product twice, but after seeing how encouraging and supportive everyone was from the previous delay post, we want to work even harder to release the game in a better state. We seek your understanding.”

While it may be disappointing to fans hoping to get cooking early, giving the developers more time to finetune their product and produce the best version of SEDAP! is always going to be a good thing. And considering the scope of the game, it seems like the wise move.

As the description of the game goes: “SEDAP! is a co-op cooking-combat adventure that combines the chaos of a collaborative kitchen and the wonders of adventuring into an unexplored world. Embark on an exciting culinary journey, whip up delectable delicacies, and serve your way through a fantastical reimagination of Southeast Asia!”

Players will step into the shoes of Som the Cooker or Gon the Hunter, as they explore Khaya Island in search of new recipes and tastes while slowly uncovering the veil of secrets that haunts the locale. As Som, you will be whipping up delicious fare, while Gon will have to battle fearsome creatures and forage for ingredients.
