EA Sports FC 27 Licences Expand With Lazio and More Stadiums

Electronic Arts has revealed another batch of licensing additions for EA Sports FC 27, bringing Lazio back into the fold alongside several new and reconstructed stadiums. S.S. Lazio’s return means 17 Serie A clubs will be officially licensed in this year’s game, while EA has also announced new and renewed marketing partnerships with Aston Villa and Liverpool, respectively.

The Premier League remains fully licensed, covering all 20 clubs, their managers, kits, stadiums, and the wider broadcast presentation. It is another layer of authenticity for a game already set to include more than 21,000 players, over 800 clubs and national teams, 140 stadiums and more than 35 leagues.

The latest update also confirms several additions to the stadium roster. AS Monaco’s Stade Louis II, Real Oviedo’s Estadio Carlos Tartiere and Legia Warsaw Municipal Stadium will all make their way into EA Sports FC 27.

Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium and VfB Stuttgart’s MHPArena have meanwhile been reconstructed for this year’s game. All three newly promoted Premier League clubs will also have their grounds represented at launch, with Ipswich Town’s Portman Road, Hull City’s MKM Stadium and Coventry City’s CBS Arena joining the selection.

That brings greater authenticity to Career Mode in particular, which is already receiving substantial changes to transfers, player form and progression.

EA has also renewed several long-running football agreements. The partnership with the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 is being extended, continuing one of EA Sports’ longest relationships with a domestic football competition.

The ROSHN Saudi League agreement has also been renewed, preserving every league club and player within the game. Australia’s A-League remains part of both EA Sports FC 27 and EA Sports FC Mobile, with updated squads and kits planned following the start of its new season in October.

Liga MX is also returning with all 18 clubs following its previously announced multi-year agreement with EA.
