LISA PlayStation DualSense Arrives in Singapore This October
Sony Interactive Entertainment is expanding its collaboration with K-pop star LISA through a new piece of PlayStation hardware, revealing the DualSense Wireless Controller – Lisa Limited Edition. The controller launches on October 30 in highly limited quantities, with pre-orders beginning October 2.
In Singapore, it will carry a recommended retail price of SG$115, alongside regional releases across Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam. The release builds on her appearance in PlayStation’s global PS5 campaign last year, but this time she had a direct hand in shaping the design.
Designing the Limited Edition Controller
Rather than simply placing the celebrity’s name on an existing colourway, PlayStation says it worked closely with the Thai singer and performer to incorporate details with personal meaning. Her signature bangs and eyes appear across the touch pad, accompanied by stars and bold LL lettering. The entire controller is finished in Chroma Pearl, which PlayStation describes as the star’s personal favourite colourway.
“Gaming is something I do whenever I have time to relax,” the BLACKPINK member said, adding that the collaboration gave her another way to express herself outside music and fashion.
It makes for one of PlayStation’s more personality-driven limited edition controllers, compared with recent game-specific designs such as the Death Stranding 2: On the Beach DualSense and the Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow range.
Pre-Orders Begin October 2 in Southeast Asia
The limited edition controller will be available through participating retailers from October 30, while stocks last. Regional pricing has been set at SG$115 in Singapore, MYR419 in Malaysia, IDR1,549,000 in Indonesia, THB2,890 in Thailand, PHP5,411 in the Philippines and VND2,399,000 in Vietnam.
The timing also lines up with the star’s musical release. Her new EP, Press Play, arrives on October 23, one week before the controller hits stores. For PlayStation collectors, the bigger challenge may simply be finding one. Sony is specifically describing the controller as a highly limited release, so those interested will probably want to keep an eye on participating retailers once pre-orders open.
