SWAPMEAT Launches 1.0 on Steam This June
One More Game has confirmed that SWAPMEAT will leave early access and launch into version 1.0 on June 17.
The fast-moving third-person shooter roguelite first arrived in Early Access late last year, giving players time to test its strange body-swapping combat loop. With the full launch, One More Game is adding new planets, mutations, quality of life improvements, and the final boss.
Squishy Gets Stronger by Swapping Enemy Parts
In SWAPMEAT, players take on the role of Squishy, a shape-shifting operative working for Rangus Corp. Rather than simply collecting weapons and passive bonuses, Squishy grows stronger by stealing enemy heads, torsos, and legs.
Each body part comes with its own power, allowing players to build different combinations during each run. That gives SWAPMEAT its core gameplay loop, where survival depends on adapting to whatever enemies appear and making the most of whatever parts are available.
The result is a roguelite where builds can change quickly. A good run is not only about shooting well, but also about reading the chaos and knowing when to swap into something stranger, stronger, or more useful for the fight ahead.
New Planets and Mutations Arrive at Full Launch
The 1.0 update arrives as a major content drop rather than a simple Early Access exit. New planets will expand the range of locations players can fight through, while new mutations should add more ways to shape Squishy between runs.
One More Game is also adding permanent weapon upgrades and ranks, giving players a clearer sense of long-term growth. Given the difficulty of scaling, SWAPMEAT should support both lighter exploration and more demanding challenge runs.
The full launch also introduces the game’s final boss, giving the roguelite structure a proper endpoint for players who have been following the early access build.
Solo and Co Op Runs Keep the Chaos Flexible
SWAPMEAT can be played solo or with friends, with hordes of strange monsters pushing players to keep moving, keep swapping, and keep experimenting.

Random world events and optional activities are also part of the structure, helping each run feel less predictable. Between changing body parts, new enemy combinations, and different planets, One More Game is clearly leaning into replayability as the game moves into full release.
The studio itself comes with experience across major franchises, including Warcraft, Diablo, League of Legends, and Guild Wars. With SWAPMEAT, the team is building something smaller, weirder, and much messier in the best way.
SWAPMEAT launches version 1.0 on June 17 for PC, Mac, and Steam Deck via Steam.
