Star Wars Zero Company Cast Brings Clone Wars Veterans Back

Bit Reactor and Lucasfilm Games have revealed part of the cast for Star Wars Zero Company, the upcoming single-player turn-based tactics game launching on August 27.

The cast reveal confirms Jonathan Freeman and Erica Luttrell as the masculine and feminine voice options for Hawks, the customisable former Galactic Republic officer leading Zero Company. The game also brings back familiar Star Wars animation veterans, with Matt Lanter returning as Anakin Skywalker and Dee Bradley Baker voicing Trick.

Star Wars Zero Company is not going to be a purely mechanical strategy title. Bit Reactor has repeatedly leaned into the idea of a cinematic tactics experience set in the shadows of the Clone Wars, where squad composition, character identity, and story consequences are meant to sit alongside battlefield decision-making.

Hawks Leads an Unusual Clone Wars Squad

In Star Wars Zero Company, players control Hawks, a former Republic officer who forms an unconventional squad of professionals for hire from across the galaxy. That team includes a Clone Trooper, a Mandalorian, a Jedi Padawan, and other Operators with their own roles, backgrounds, and combat specialisations.

Their mission centres on hunting down Kundri Fathom, played by Rekha Sharma, the ruthless leader of a Separatist-aligned cult known as the Infinite Coil. The revealed Zero Company Operatives include Trick, voiced by Dee Bradley Baker; Kabb Uppercut, voiced by JB Blanc; Jae Mordant, voiced by Judy Alice Lee; Tel-Rea “Tel” Vokoss, voiced by Nicole Rainteau; Cly Kullervo, voiced by Alex McKenna; and Luco Bronc, voiced by Jason Spisak.

Customisation Remains Central to the Tactics Loop

The cast reveal also reinforces how much customisation sits at the centre of Star Wars Zero Company. Players can customise Hawks and recruited Operators across 8 Star Wars species: Devaronian, Human, Neimoidian, Ovissian, Togruta, Twi’lek, Weequay, and Zabrak. Voices, outfits, appearance details, combat specialisations, and talents can also be adjusted over time.

That should help players treat Zero Company as their own squad rather than a fixed party. For a game clearly inspired by tactical squad management, that personal connection could be just as important as positioning units correctly on the battlefield.

San Diego Comic-Con Panel Will Go Behind the Scenes

Bit Reactor will share more on the game during San Diego Comic-Con, with a panel scheduled for July 25 from 4 PM to 5 PM PT. Narrative and Cinematic Director Aaron Contreras, Lucasfilm Creative Executive Kelsey Sharpe, and cast members including Dee Bradley Baker, Jonathan Freeman, Vic Michaelis, and Rekha Sharma will discuss how the team is bringing the game’s characters and story to life.

The panel should be worth watching for fans who want a better sense of how Star Wars Zero Company is balancing its Clone Wars setting with new characters, new threats, and tactical gameplay. And there might be a surprise or two awaiting as well.

Star Wars Zero Company Launches This August

Star Wars Zero Company launches on August 27 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders are available now, with the Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition available. The latter will provide players with extra Clone Wars-era cosmetic content.

For players who have followed our previous Star Wars Zero Company coverage, this cast reveal makes the game’s direction even clearer. Bit Reactor is not just making Star Wars XCOM. It is trying to build a character-driven Clone Wars tactics story where every squad member matters.
